Condoms

Condoms are an essential part of playing with anal sex toys. They protect multiple users from bacteria, germs and diseases. They are best used with anal sex toys that are not non-porous, but are recommended with all if you’re planning on sharing a toy with anyone else.

The most well-known brand of condoms is Trojan condoms, but there are other companies that produce condoms. The two major ones in America aside from Trojan condoms are Durex and LifeStyles. They, with other lesser known companies, make several types of condoms:

  • Sensitive condoms that are sensitive to the nerves within the anus.
  • Ribbed condoms that have ribs in them to emulate the feel of a real penis to the user.
  • Colored condoms that have many different colors. They have the same feel as a regular condom though.
  • Flavored condoms that have a certain taste to it.
  • Extra strength condoms that are able to hold up to more punishment than the regular condom.
  • Non-lubricated condoms that require you to use your own lube when it’s time to penetrate. Just remember that oil-based lube damages condoms.
  • Non-latex condoms for those of you who are allergic or don’t like the feel of latex.
  • Warm sensation condoms that give off a warm aura to stimulate you even more.
  • Small condoms that can fit your smaller anal sex toys better
  • Larger (Magnum) condoms that are appropriate for your bigger anal sex toys

Putting condoms on your anal sex toys can be fun since there are so many to choose from. You can stick to just one that you like or try out them all to see which one you like best or if you just want variety in your anal adventures.

When choosing a condom to use with your partner, you have to make sure of a few things:

  • If your partner approves of the condom that you choose
  • If the condom works with the material of the sex toy
  • If the condom feels good to you (or whoever is getting penetrated in the anus)
  • If the condom fits your sex toy
  • If you or your partner(s) (depending on who is getting penetrated) is allergic to latex

You should also make sure to open the condom wrapper carefully since ripping the condom won’t give you a 100% chance at preventing diseases from going onto the sex toy. Also, if you feel that the condom has ripped inside of your anus, then remove the toy immediately, clean it how the cleaning instructions tell you to for the material of toy you have and then put on another condom onto your anal sex toy.
